DUBAI, 2nd JANUARY / WAM / The Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Medical and Educational Sciences announced the results of the Innovators 2024 competition in its seventh session, after the completion of the evaluation process of the projects qualified for the final stage, which followed the implementation phase process, and the winners were selected based on the criteria of creativity and impact. His Excellency Dr. Khalifa Al Suwaidi, Executive Director of the Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Medical and Educational Sciences, said that today the results of the seventh session of the Innovators Competition were announced, which began in June of last year and in which 137 male and female students from state schools participated, and the performance reflected the outstanding performance. The advanced skills and knowledge possessed by the students contribute to the development of the competition and the enhancement of its fields.

He congratulated the winners and appreciated their efforts and enthusiasm in highlighting their innovative talents and creativity, indicating that the competition will move to greater horizons in the coming period with the aim of expanding its scope of benefit, motivating students to adopt creative thinking, and providing the appropriate environment for them to transform their ideas into realistic projects that contribute to achieving sustainable development and strengthening national capabilities. Abdullah Ahmed Al Hammadi and Fatima Rashid Awad won the Innovators 2024 competition for their project “Aboory.” The “MindSync” project also won and was submitted by Muhammad Adnan Muhammad and Ardzin Nathaniel Umaldi, while Nabil Nadeem Al Qadi, Alaa Salah Abdul Aziz, and Youssef won. It is noteworthy that the incentive awards include the “Sustainability Award” and the “Community Service Award,” and the winners will be announced at a later time. All winning teams in the Innovators 2024 competition will also be honored during a large ceremony held within the activities of Innovation Week in February 2025.

The evaluation of entries in the Innovators Competition was supervised by a jury that included an elite group of arbitrators with experience and competence in the field.

The total number of participating advanced teams reached 137, the number of teams that met the competition conditions was 45, 20 teams qualified for the first arbitration stage, and the number of teams qualified for implementation and final arbitration was 9 teams, of which three teams won.
