Qamar: We are negotiating with the UAE Federation regarding the Egyptian Volleyball Super Cup
Yasser Qamar, President of the Egyptian Volleyball Federation, confirmed in press statements that the Egyptian Federation is currently conducting negotiations with its Emirati counterpart to hold the Egyptian Super Cup final match for men in the Emirates.
The Egyptian Volleyball Super Cup is scheduled to be held. The men’s plane will be held next February with the participation of 4 clubs: Al-Ahly, Zamalek, Sporting and Smouha, with the tournament being held in a single-match semi-final system, and the two winners qualify for the final match.
Qamar explained: “We are awaiting the UAE Federation’s response to hold the final match in the Emirates, as part of the Federation’s strategy to promote Egyptian volleyball and market important matches externally.”
He added: “If we reach an agreement in the coming days, the Super Cup final will be held in the Emirates.” If we do not reach an agreement, the match will be held in Egypt, but our conversation will be with the Emirati side regarding the Super Cup next season, which we will announce in the coming days.”
Qamar pointed out that An awaited session will be held with officials of the UAE Federation in Qatar on the sidelines of holding the Arab Club Championship, in order to cooperate between the two sides during the next stage.
The Arab Volleyball Club Championship will be held in Qatar during the period from January 13 to 26.&lrm Its groups were as follows:
The first group: Al-Suwaihli of Libya – Al-Salam of Oman – Baniyas of the Emirates.
The second group: Zamalek of Egypt – Al-Seeb of Oman. – Al-Kuwait Al-Kuwait – Al-Hilal Al-Libyan.
The third group: Al-Ahly of Egypt – Erbil of Iraq – Darkulaib of Bahrain – Al-Shorta of Qatar.
Group Four: Gaza of Palestine – Burgan of Kuwait – Qatar of Qatar – Al-Jazeera of the Emirates. .
