Venezuela.. The government is offering a $100,000 reward for uncovering an opposition site
On Thursday, the government in Venezuela offered a reward of $100,000 for any information about the whereabouts of Edmundo Gonzalez, the opposition presidential candidate who claims to have defeated President Nicolas Maduro in last year’s elections.
The announcement of the reward came eight days before the start of the next presidential term of the President of Venezuela.

“Offering a reward of $100,000 to anyone who provides information about his whereabouts,” the press office of the country’s Scientific, Criminal and Forensic Investigation Agency said in a comment on a post on an app showing a flyer with a photo of Gonzalez and instructions to hand him over to the authorities.

Gonzalez left Venezuela in September for exile in Spain after a judge issued an arrest warrant for him as part of an investigation linked to the presidential elections held on July 28, which the country’s National Electoral Council, the majority of whose members are supporters of the ruling party, said Maduro won.
However, unlike previous presidential elections, electoral authorities did not provide a detailed vote count.
