US forces seize a ship after escaping the embargo in the Caribbean

The Pentagon reported Sunday that US forces boarded an oil tanker in Indian Oceanviolated President Donald Trump’s ban on sanctioned vessels in The Caribbean Sea, by fleeing the region.

The US Department of Defense said on the X platform "The Panama-flagged oil tanker Veronica 3 tried to defy the embargo imposed by President Trump, hoping to escape.

We pursued it from the Caribbean Sea to the Indian Ocean, reduced its distance from us, and stopped its movements.".
