60 entities were honored in recognition of their contributions to Abu Dhabi Early Childhood Week 2025

Abu Dhabi, February 16, 2025 – The Abu Dhabi Early Childhood Authority honored 60 entities in recognition of their contributions to the success of Abu Dhabi Early Childhood Week 2025, during a ceremony held in the presence of a number of partners and representatives of supporting entities.

In the keynote speech during the ceremony, His Excellency Dr. Mugheer Khamis Al Khaili, Secretary General of the Zayed Humanitarian Legacy Foundation, stressed the importance of partnership in supporting the early childhood development system, and the role of cooperation between government, private and community agencies in achieving a sustainable impact that reflects positively on children and families in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.

Abu Dhabi Early Childhood Week 2025 was organized during the period from 17 to 23 November 2025 in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Al Dhafra, and brought together families through more than 300 experiences and events led by partners, focusing on play, learning and discovery, in conjunction with the awareness campaign “Their First Years Divide”, which encouraged the community to realize the importance of the first years in a child’s life.

The honorees included ADNOC as the energy sector partner, the National Academy for Child Development as the vision partner, and PureHealth Group as the health partner, in addition to the Department of Municipalities and Transport, the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club, the Abu Dhabi Public Health Centre, the M42 Company, the Department of Community Development, the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, Miral Company, the National Archives and Library, Mudon Company, and others.

For his part, His Excellency Dr. Yousef Al Hammadi, Executive Director of the Leadership and Knowledge Sector at the Abu Dhabi Early Childhood Authority, said that honoring partners today confirms the Authority’s commitment to the integrated work approach, in the belief that early childhood development is a shared responsibility, while Abu Dhabi Early Childhood Week formed an effective platform for translating this cooperation into a tangible impact that reached children and families in various regions of the emirate, and contributed to promoting positive practices within the family.

The week witnessed widespread community interaction, with more than 65,000 visitors participating, while the awareness campaign accompanying the week, “Their Early Years Are Different,” achieved more than 109 million views of its messages, in addition to more than 862,000 clicks and interactions, while the official film for the campaign garnered 9.9 million views.

The Abu Dhabi Early Childhood Authority also distributed 600 copies of its mental health guide for parents, along with the “Parent Pack,” a practical resource that combines expert guidance with simplified advice to help parents support their children’s development in their early years through everyday interactions.

For her part, Dr. Ghuwaya Al Neyadi, Senior Vice President of National Identity, Quality of Life and Social Responsibility at ADNOC, expressed ADNOC’s pride in its partnership with the Abu Dhabi Early Childhood Authority in organizing this distinguished initiative, which confirms ADNOC’s firm commitment to supporting the quality of life of individuals and families and contributing to enhancing the development of future generations.

She added that by participating in early childhood support initiatives, ADNOC plays an important role in building stronger communities and consolidating Abu Dhabi’s position as an emirate that embraces and supports families.

For her part, Her Excellency Dr. Mira Al Kaabi, Acting President of the National Academy for Childhood Development, said that early childhood constitutes one of the most important stages in a person’s life, due to its pivotal role in preparing children to acquire life skills and consolidating the foundations of learning, which contributes to shaping personality and developing the capabilities necessary for lifelong learning.

She expressed the Academy’s pride, as a partner of the vision, in supporting Abu Dhabi Early Childhood Week 2025 and the “Their First Years Divide” campaign, and in contributing to delivering a meaningful message that resonated widely with families and society throughout the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.

For her part, Lea Al-Damani, Chief Sustainability Officer at PureHealth Group, said that the group believes that building healthier societies begins from the early years of life, and its support for this important initiative reflects its commitment to promoting preventive health concepts, empowering parents with knowledge, and ensuring the foundations for children’s lifelong sustainable health.

She added that through cooperation with the Abu Dhabi Early Childhood Authority and the group’s partners, PureHealth is proud of its contribution to establishing an integrated and sustainable system concerned with caring for the physical, psychological and emotional health of children and families in various parts of the emirate.

For its part, the Abu Dhabi Early Childhood Authority announced that the next edition of Abu Dhabi Early Childhood Week will be held from November 16 to 22, 2026, under the same slogan: “Together we make Abu Dhabi a family-friendly emirate.”
