"Airbus A350" Entering the commercial service with "Emirates Airlines"
Dubai, January 4, 2017 – The first Airbus A350 entered commercial service with Emirates Airlines, as the new aircraft took off on its inaugural flight from Dubai to Edinburgh.
This aircraft is the first of 65 aircraft of this type that will join the company’s fleet over the coming years.
The Airbus A350 is considered the most fuel efficient aircraft in commercial service today. The Emirates aircraft that entered service has three classes with a capacity of 312 passengers, with the new generation of business class having 32 seats, premium economy class having 21 seats, and economy class having 259 seats. .
Emirates Airlines will operate its new A350 aircraft to 8 other destinations in the coming period, which are Kuwait, Bahrain, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Colombo, Lyon, Muscat, and Poland.
