ABU DHABI, 4th January, 2017 (WAM) – The Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination sent a global message on the occasion of World Braille Language Day, which falls on January 4th, aiming to promote the values ​​of brotherhood and global peace, confront the waves of hatred and division that the world is witnessing, and carry a global call for peace and coexistence, inspired by the spirit of Document on Human Fraternity.

In its message, the Foundation called on all international institutions to adopt a similar approach to spreading messages of goodness and hope, and to work together to achieve a more tolerant and stable world, stressing that this project represents part of its vision to promote inclusiveness and equality, and that achieving peace cannot be achieved except by ensuring access to… His messages are for everyone, including people of determination, who play a pivotal role in building a better future.

This message, which was sent in cooperation with the Supreme Committee for Human Fraternity and with the support of the Cultural Foundation in Abu Dhabi, comes based on the Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination’s commitment to its humanitarian and social role in enhancing awareness of the noble values ​​that the Human Fraternity Document seeks to spread.

In its video message, which included reading texts from the Human Fraternity Document in Braille for the blind in Arabic and English, the Foundation affirmed its belief that its role goes beyond providing traditional services to people of determination, to enhance their role as active partners in society, and that printing the Human Fraternity Document in Braille is a message. That everyone, without discrimination, can be ambassadors for peace and tolerance in the world.

She explained that the message is part of her efforts that aim to enable people of determination to be active partners in spreading messages of tolerance and peace in the world, stressing that she is working on their participation and contributing to making their voice heard to the world.

The Foundation had issued a copy of the Document on Human Fraternity in Braille, to be accessible to blind and visually impaired people around the world, emphasizing the necessity of humanitarian messages reaching everyone without exception, and to enhance cultural and social communication with blind people everywhere, considering this group a driving force for achieving change. Positive.

The celebration of World Braille Language Day aims to enhance the importance of facilitating knowledge and culture for the blind, and the Foundation explained that choosing this timing reflects its belief that the Braille language is a bridge for communication and enables people of determination to access universal values ​​and principles.

The Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination cooperated with the Supreme Committee for Human Fraternity to raise awareness of the People of Determination about the Human Fraternity Document and also convert it into recorded texts in the Arabic sign language approved for the deaf in cooperation with the Emirates Association for the Deaf. The Foundation’s employees from the blind category also translated the document into Arabic, English and Italian Braille and printed 100 A copy of it to be delivered to all segments of society, including people of determination, as well as to people of determination in different countries of the world, in addition to a gift. 100 copies to the Al-Azhar Al-Sharif Library, and another 100 copies to the Vatican Library.

The Foundation also brought together people of determination from its members and from different nationalities and countries of the world, to create a garden with the slogan of human brotherhood at its headquarters located in the Mafraq area in Abu Dhabi, as an expression of solidarity and support among the peoples of the world on the territory of the United Arab Emirates.
