Casualties resulting from a fire in a market in China

A fire broke out in a vegetable market in Hebei Province, northern China, killing eight people and injuring 15 others, China Central Television reported on Saturday.
The television added that the authorities are investigating the cause of the fire that broke out in the city of Zhangjiakou, which was extinguished one hour after it broke out.
Videos published by other local media showed huge clouds of black smoke and large flames above the market in the city’s Qiaoxi district. The causes of the fire are not yet known.
