المملكة: Thunderstorms until Wednesday.. “Civil Defense” issues important warnings

The General Directorate of Civil Defense indicated that thunderstorms would fall in most regions of the Kingdom, until next Wednesday.
The Civil Defense called for caution and the need to stay in safe places, stay away from places where floods and valleys accumulate, and not swim in them.

The Civil Defense stressed adherence to the instructions announced through various media and social networking sites.
He explained that the Makkah Al-Mukarramah region will be affected by heavy rains that will lead to torrential rains, hail, and blowing winds that will stir up dirt and dust.
It will include Jeddah, the holy capital, Bahrah, Al-Jamoum, Rabigh, Khulais, and Al-Kamel, and the situation will be moderate to heavy to include Taif, Maysan, Adham, Al-Muwayh, Turabah, Al-Khurma, Raniyah, Al-Layth, and Al-Qunfudhah.

The Riyadh region will be affected by moderate to heavy rains that will lead to torrential rains, hail, and downward winds that will stir up dust and dust, including Afif, Al-Dawadmi, Al-Quwayiyah, Shaqra, Al-Ghat, Al-Zulfi, Al-Majma’ah, Rumah, Thadig, Huraymila, and Marat.
It will be light to moderate, including Riyadh, the capital, Al-Kharj, Al-Dalam, Al-Muzahmiyah, Al-Diriyah, Al-Rain, Darma, and Al-Hareeq.
The directorate pointed out that the regions of Tabuk, Al-Jawf, the northern border, Hail, Al-Qassim, Al-Sharqiya, and Medina will be affected by moderate to heavy rain.

Eastern Saudi Arabia weather

The eastern region will witness rainfall of varying intensity during Tuesday, January 8, and Wednesday, January 9.
Rainfall amounts will range from moderate to heavy in some governorates, and light to moderate in the rest of the region.
The governorates of Hafar Al-Batin, Olaya Village, Al-Khafji, and Al-Nairiya are expected to record moderate to heavy rains during Tuesday and Wednesday, accompanied by active winds that may raise dust and dust in some periods.
The governorates of Dammam, Al-Khobar, Jubail, Dhahran, Abqaiq, Tanura, and Al-Ahsa will witness light to moderate rain during the same period.

Weather of Saudi regions

The National Center of Meteorology announced forecasts of a comprehensive rain condition that will affect various regions of the Kingdom.
It will start tomorrow evening, next Sunday, January 5, and continue throughout the week.
The expected amounts of rain range between light, medium and heavy, with the possibility that it will be accompanied by weather phenomena such as active winds that stir up dust and torrents in some areas.
