المملكة: Food and medical… The King Salman Center provides new aid in 4 countries

Yesterday, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center distributed purchasing vouchers enabling the beneficiary to purchase winter clothing according to his choice from approved stores in the Amman and Madaba governorates in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
It benefited 1,055 individuals, including 191 Palestinian refugee families, as part of the third phase of the winter clothing distribution project (KNF) for the year 2025 AD.
In Lebanon, the Center continued implementing the Al-Amal Charitable Bakery project in its fourth phase in Akkar Governorate and Al-Minya District in Lebanon.
Last week, the project distributed 175,000 loaves of bread to needy families, including Syrians, Palestinians, and the host community residing in northern Lebanon, benefiting 12,500 families, representing 62,500 individuals.

Prosthetics Center

On the other hand, the project to operate the Artificial Limbs and Rehabilitation Center in Sayun District, Hadramaut Governorate, provided various medical services to 686 beneficiaries of the brotherly Yemeni people who lost their limbs, with support from the Centre.
During the project, 2,027 services were provided, with the percentage of males reaching 54% and the percentage of females 46%, while the percentage of displaced persons constituted 16% and residents 84% ​​of the total beneficiaries.
Services were distributed among the installation and rehabilitation of prosthetic limbs, physical therapy, and specialized consultations.

Mobile clinic system

The King Salman Center also signed a joint cooperation agreement with a civil society organization to implement the sixth phase of the mobile clinic system in the governorates of Saada and Hajjah, benefiting 52,124 individuals, at a value of 504 thousand US dollars.
Under the agreement, the spread of diseases and epidemics will be limited, and emergency health services will be provided to the displaced through an integrated approach to developing and settling health care in the governorates of Saada and Hajjah.
This aims to secure medicines and medical supplies, operate mobile medical and non-medical clinics, as well as dispose of medical waste and preserve the environment.

Syria aid

The day before yesterday, the Center distributed 1,000 food baskets and 1,000 health kits in the town of Jenderes in Aleppo Governorate in the Syrian Arab Republic, benefiting 6,000 individuals, including 1,000 families.
This is within the second phase of a project to distribute food aid and health bags to residents affected by the earthquake in northern Syria.
This comes within the framework of the relief and humanitarian efforts provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through its humanitarian arm, the King Salman Relief Centre. To alleviate the suffering of the brotherly Syrian people in various crises and tribulations.
