المملكة: A record number… The Citrus Festival attracts more than 70,000 visitors

The ninth Citrus Festival, organized by the Agricultural Services Company in Al-Hariq Governorate, set a record on its third day with the attendance of more than (70,677) thousand visitors.
This high demand is the result of the variety of events that combine agricultural experiences, recreational activities, and displays of local products. To highlight the public’s interest in the festival as a distinctive tourist destination.

Citrus Festival

Visitors to the festival enjoyed tasting many different popular dishes, distinguished by serving food on tarring peels, in an initiative that supports manufacturing industries and adds a creative character to the various events that adorn Al-Hariq Governorate throughout the ten-day festival.

The festival also allocated (36) corners for productive families, which were set up in the style of traditional homes, and witnessed competition in marketing their popular food products, which received great demand from visitors. The turnout also contributed to enhancing the experience of eating popular and modern foods, which added an exceptional atmosphere to the event.
It is noteworthy that the Citrus Festival contributes to supporting productive families, by improving their income, and creating new job opportunities for families, in the field of cultivation, production, and marketing of citrus products and popular foods, in addition to strengthening its manufacturing industries, by displaying and marketing many local foods and products.
