Syria.. resumption of flights at Damascus International Airport

Yesterday, the Syrian authorities announced the start of receiving international flights arriving at the airport of the Syrian capital, Damascus, on the 7th of this month.

This came in an announcement by the head of the Civil Aviation and Air Transport Authority in Syria, Ashhad Al-Salibi, and was reported by the Syrian News Agency, SANA, where he said: “We announce the start of receiving international flights to and from Damascus International Airport from 1/7/2025.”

He added: “We reassure Arab and international airlines that we are in the process of fully rehabilitating Aleppo and Damascus airports with the help of our partners so that they will be able to receive flights from all over the world.”
