Sales of hybrid models amounted to 356,58 units, an increase of 24.9% on an annual basis last year, constituting 88% of the total sales of environmentally friendly cars, while sales of electric cars decreased 21.2% from 115,900 units in 2023 to 91,385 units in the year. the past. Sales of hydrogen fuel cell cars also declined by 36.4% from 4,238 units to 2,751 units.
An auto industry official said that despite the slowdown in electric car sales, demand for environmentally friendly cars remained strong thanks to increased sales of hybrid models.
