His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, announced today that Dubai topped the region, in the “Global Cities Power 2024” index issued by the Urban Strategies Institute – Mori Memorial Corporation of Japan.

His Highness said in his official account on the “X” platform: “For the second year in a row, Dubai is first regionally and eighth globally in the “Global Cities Power 2024” index issued by the Urban Strategies Institute – Japan’s Mori Memorial Foundation, and to be the first Middle Eastern city to achieve this. Outstanding achievement.”

His Highness continued: “Dubai’s superiority in global indicators reflects the inspiring vision of Mohammed bin Rashid and the result of the hard work of Dubai’s teams and partners.”

His Highness stressed, saying: “We realize that the strength of cities is not in their size or population, but in their vision, ambition, and ability to provide an inspiring model to the world… We in Dubai are strong, persistent, innovative, and makers of hope and the future.”
