المملكة: Health oversight…7 thousand food samples were examined in Jeddah during December

The Jeddah Governorate Municipality revealed the issuance and renewal of 6,208 health certificates during the month of December, and the examination of 7,747 food samples through the Laboratory Department, as part of its oversight efforts through the Ejada program on health facilities.

The secretariat explained that the monitoring tours included health facilities within 11 sub-municipalities, and aimed to raise the compliance rate of commercial and health facilities, which will be reflected in the quality of services provided, and contribute to the security and safety of food provided to residents and visitors.

Continuous supervision

She confirmed the continuation of her oversight efforts through her field tours to follow up on the implementation of health requirements in food establishments and raise the level of compliance.

She pointed out that establishments can access municipal services easily and conveniently through the Baladi platform, which allows the possibility of issuing and printing a health certificate without the need to visit the secretariat, by linking the results of the medical examination with the health platform electronically.
