The Khalifa Date Palm Award participates in the Al Ain Dates Festival

Dr. Abdul Wahab Zayed, Secretary General of the Khalifa International Award for Date Palm and Agricultural Innovation, said that participation in the festival came under the directives of His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence and Chairman of the Award’s Board of Trustees, to celebrate Zayed’s humanitarian legacy in the field of palm cultivation and date production and manufacturing, and to confirm The award is committed to supporting efforts aimed at promoting sustainable development in the palm cultivation and date production sector.
He stressed the award’s commitment to highlighting innovations and achievements that serve the palm cultivation and date production sector and enhance its position as a strategic product that represents part of the heritage, cultural and social identity of the United Arab Emirates.
The award pavilion reflects its vision, mission and achievements in developing this sector at the national, regional and international levels, where the most prominent research projects and innovative technologies that won the award during the past years were displayed, in addition to a review of the successes achieved over the past years in cooperation with local and international partners, in addition to activities.
