The UAE praises the trade agreement between the Republic of India and the European Union
Abu Dhabi, 28 January / WAM / His Excellency Saeed Al Hajri, Minister of State, praised the historic free trade agreement reached between the Republic of India and the European Union, appreciating this important achievement that reflects the commitment of both sides to promoting free trade and economic openness, and embodies a model of economic partnerships that support sustainable growth and prosperity.
His Excellency stressed that the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement signed between the UAE and the Republic of India represents an advanced model of strategic trade partnerships based on common interests, enhancing economic integration, and supporting sustainable development paths, noting that the comprehensive agreements contribute to achieving tangible benefits for all parties.
His Excellency also expressed the UAE’s aspiration to complete the ongoing negotiations with the European Union in a positive manner, leading to the signing of the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement between the two sides, and reflecting the depth of the strong relations and common interests that bind the UAE to the European Union.
His Excellency Saeed Al Hajri pointed out that the UAE affirms its firm support for promoting international trade, expanding strategic economic partnerships, and consolidating rapprochement between economies, based on its belief in the role of free trade in supporting stability and prosperity at the bilateral and international levels.
