Dubai ranks first regionally among the top ten in the index "Global Cities Power 2024"
DUBAI, 5 JANUARY / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, Chairman of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Dubai, confirmed that the leadership that Dubai has maintained in the “Global City Strength Index 2024” for the year The second in a row, it embodies the inspiring vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, may God protect him, which constitutes the basic foundation for progress. This came on the occasion of Dubai’s success in maintaining its position among the top ten, achieving first place regionally and eighth globally, for the second year in a row, in the index issued by the Institute of Urban Strategies – the Japanese Mori Memorial Foundation, as the first Middle Eastern city to achieve this prestigious global achievement.
His Highness said: Dubai continues to consolidate its position as a major destination to advance the global economy by adopting strategies that combine innovation and sustainable development, providing work environments in which national competencies and global talents flourish, and providing opportunities for creative ideas to accelerate the process of comprehensive development, and formulating a global model in the sustainable and flexible economy to remain.
