المملكة: The Foreign Minister and the American envoy to Lebanon discuss developments

His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs, met at the Ministry’s headquarters in Riyadh with the American envoy to Lebanon, Amos Hochstein.
During the meeting, current regional issues were discussed, including developments on the Lebanese scene and the efforts made regarding them.

Saudi-Lebanese relations

The meeting was attended by His Highness Prince Yazid bin Mohammed bin Fahd Al-Farhan, Advisor to His Highness the Minister of Foreign Affairs for Lebanese Affairs.

About a week ago, His Royal Highness Prince Khaled bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Defense and Commander of the Lebanese Army, reviewed the bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries in the military and defense field.
The two parties discussed the latest developments in the situation in Lebanon and the efforts made regarding them, according to what was reported by Al-Ekhbariya channel.

Developments on the Lebanese scene

Regarding the developments on the Lebanese scene, the occupation warplanes launched an attack on Thursday on the Iqlim al-Tuffah area, the area between the towns of Zhalta and Jbaa, and the Mount Rayhan heights in southern Lebanon.
The targeting of the Iqlim al-Tuffah area is the first air aggression since the ceasefire last November, according to what the official Lebanese National News Agency announced.
