As part of the ongoing preparations for The Hajj season and the organization of the movement of pilgrims as the end of the Umrah season approaches, Performing the Hajj is limited exclusively to holders of a regular Hajj visa.

The Ministry clarified, through an explanatory statement published on its official account on the “X” platform under the hashtag “#Coming_for_Umrah,” that the first of Shawwal is the last date for issuing Umrah visas, within a precise timetable aimed at organizing the season and ensuring the smooth flow of movement at air and land ports, in a way that enhances the efficiency of crowd management and prepares for the transition to the Hajj season.

In a related context, the Ministry stressed during the seventeenth regular meeting with Umrah companies, which was held under the patronage of the Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah, the necessity of strict adherence to the regulating regulations and instructions, especially with regard to the dates of transfer to airports and updating the departure data of pilgrims via the “Nasak Masar” platform.

It categorically confirmed that “there is no Hajj except with a regular Hajj visa,” and that the rituals cannot be performed using an Umrah visa, In a step aimed at controlling procedures and preventing any violations that may affect the integrity of the organization.

Facilitating the departure of pilgrims

These directives come in conjunction with a package of instructions issued by the Ministry to facilitate the departure of pilgrims, as it called for following up on flight updates and direct coordination with airlines and Umrah companies, in addition to early preparation for travel and adherence to baggage requirements.

It also clarified the possibility of shipping Zamzam water through airports according to specific controls, which include purchasing bottles from approved sales points with a capacity Do not exceed five liters per container.

These measures reflect the extent of the organizational efforts made, especially in light of the rising numbers for the Umrah season, as the Ministry revealed that the number of Umrah pilgrims coming from outside the Kingdom during the month of Ramadan exceeded 1.68 million pilgrims, in a clear indication of the growing global demand for performing the rituals, supported by a package of services and facilities provided by the Kingdom within the goals of Vision 2030.

Prayer in Al Rawdah Al-Sharifa

Digital services also recorded a remarkable presence, with prayer reservations in Al-Rawdah Al-Sharifa exceeding 1.1 million reservations for people coming from 155 nationalities, while the “Nusuk Care” centers provided more than 153 thousand field services in several languages, and the Center for Care for the Guests of God (1966) dealt with more than 19.7 thousand reports and inquiries with a processing rate exceeding 93%, which reflects the level of response and operational efficiency.

At the level of oversight, field teams carried out more than 21.5 thousand inspection tours during the month of Ramadan, targeting housing facilities and service providers, to ensure compliance with regulations and raise the quality of services provided.

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah confirms that this integrated system of organizational and operational procedures comes as an extension of the directives of the wise leadership in caring for the guests of God, and its keenness to provide a safe and easy experience, ensuring the performance of rituals with reassurance, and at the same time supporting the transition. Organized from the Umrah season to the Hajj season according to the highest standards of efficiency and discipline.
