The Saudi Red Crescent Authority in the Makkah Al-Mukarramah region announced that it has raised its maximum readiness. Coinciding with the warnings issued by the National Center of Meteorology regarding heavy rains in the region, the alert was raised and all resources in the region were harnessed.

The Authority raised the readiness of 98 centers in the Makkah Al-Mukarramah region with its crews of doctors, specialists, and emergency medicine ambulance technicians, numbering 1,420 fully equipped service providers, while the number of vehicles reached approximately 149 vehicles, including equipped ambulances and disaster and crisis vehicles, Al-Shawafat, Sanad, Hadaj, and Tuwaiq bus.
