"Abu Dhabi Bicycles" Organizes a race "Falcon guarantee" January 6
ABU DHABI, December 25 / WAM / The Abu Dhabi Cycling Club announced the organization of the fourth race of the “Falcon Daman” race series, in cooperation with the National Health Insurance Company “Daman”, on January 6.
The race, which starts in front of the club’s new headquarters on Al Hudayriat Island, aims to encourage community members to practice cycling and make it a way of life, and within the framework of the club’s keenness to support its players who participate in various community races.
The race categories include: men for 62 km, women for 49 km, cubs and buds for 10 and 20 km, and people of determination in the 3.5 km category.
The Falcon Daman race is one of the most prominent races of the season for the club, along with the Daman Liwa races, the Falcon Daman Al Ain race, Qasr Al Sarab Talaat, and the Khalifa University Challenge.
Al-Nakhira Al Khaili, Executive Director of the Abu Dhabi Cycling Club, confirmed that the Falcon Daman race is one of the club’s most prominent races during the season, as it witnesses wide participation from various groups, and enhances the club’s role in raising the importance of cycling among members of society, pointing out that the success of previous versions of the event contributed to increasing the number of participants in it, as well as those practicing this game.
He added that the club is working through these types of races to discover more promising talents in order to focus on them and choose the most suitable ones to join the club’s ranks and raise their technical levels.
