المملكة: A high-rise in Rabigh touches the shore and raises waves in a rare phenomenon

The official spokesman for the National Center of Meteorology, Hussein Al-Qahtani, revealed that the “Rabigh Tower” set a new record as the strongest marine tower, as it touched the shore for the first time, causing a noticeable rise in the waves.
Al-Qahtani stressed that this phenomenon is considered a rare occurrence, and that the Research and Development Department at the National Center of Meteorology will conduct a study to evaluate its environmental impacts and determine the factors that contributed to its occurrence.
