Abu Dhabi Civil Defense Authority launches a campaign to return to schools "Our students are our future"
Abu Dhabi, August 18/WAM/The Abu Dhabi Civil Defense Authority launched a campaign to return to schools under the slogan “Our students are our future”, in conjunction with the start of the academic year 2025/2026, with the aim of supporting a safe and sustainable educational environment that contributes to protecting lives and property, consolidating the culture of safety and prevention in the school community.
The campaign depends on an integrated awareness methodology that targets students, parents, educational and administrative bodies, as well as supervisors and school bus drivers and the local community, in order to enhance the readiness of dealing with various emergency situations according to best global practices in the field of public safety.
The campaign focuses on enhancing the culture of safety between students, parents and educational staff, and raising awareness of preventive measures in schools and buses to reduce potential risks, and enable the school community to behave properly during the emergency in a way that enhances the speed of response, as well as consolidating safe behaviors through specialized awareness materials for all age groups, while employing the media, digital authority and social media platforms to spread influential and widely spread messages.
The campaign includes a series of practical educational topics, the most prominent of which are training in school evacuation plans and home, the role of smoke detector in protecting lives, safe use of electrical appliances, fire prevention, avoiding open wires, raising awareness of fireworks and encouraging safe alternatives.
The initiative targets all school students from kindergarten to secondary school, in addition to parents, teaching and administrative bodies, local community, support staff, and school bus supervisors and drivers.
The Abu Dhabi Civil Defense Authority emphasized that this initiative comes as a continuation of its efforts to protect lives and property and support a safe educational environment, and a translation of its vision in making safety a firm daily behavior in the school community, calling on everyone to pursue the content of the campaign through its digital platforms to identify the instructions and advice that guarantee a safe academic year for all.
