The UAE and Maldives are discussing joint cooperation relations
Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Emirates, discussed today with Dr. Abdullah Khalil, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Maldives, bilateral relations between the two countries, cooperation paths, and ways to develop them in several sectors, including economic, trade, investment, renewable energy, and climate.< /p>
Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan confirmed – according to the Emirates News Agency “WAM” Today, Monday – the United Arab Emirates is keen to strengthen cooperation relations with the Maldives in a way that supports the development goals of the two countries and brings goodness and prosperity to their people.
The two sides also discussed a number of regional and international issues of concern. Common interest and exchanged views on it.
