The United States and Russia confirmed their commitment With nuclear stability, and working to reduce the number of Nuclear weapons in the world.
expressed US Vice President J.D. Vance today, Thursday, expressed his country’s readiness to work with Russia, China and other countries to reduce the number of nuclear weapons in the world.
Vance said:"His country will work with China, Russia and any other country, whether friend or competitor, to try to reduce the number of nuclear weapons in the world, expressing his belief that this is the most important thing that can be done for peace and stability."
Identifying nuclear arsenals
Russian presidential spokesman (Kremlin) Dmitry Peskov stressed that his country maintains a responsible and precise approach to the issue of strategic stability in the field of nuclear weapons, despite the expiration of the treaty (New START) between the United States and Russia on restrictions on offensive strategic weapons starting today.
The Arms Reduction Treaty is the only remaining major nuclear arms control agreement between the United States and Russia, as it limits the nuclear arsenals of both countries to 800 delivery systems and 1,550 operational warheads each.
