The beach soccer team faces Senegal in a friendly preparation for the Asian Cup
Dubai, January 7 / WAM / Our national beach soccer team will play two friendly matches with the Senegal national team tomorrow and the day after tomorrow on the sand court at the headquarters of the Football Association in Dubai, as part of its preparations to participate in the finals of the Asian Cup hosted by Thailand from next March 20 to 30. .
The beach team’s roster in its current camp includes 18 players, namely Saeed Eid, Abdul Rahman Muhammad, Muhammad Abdullah, Hamid Jamal, Kamal Ali, Abdullah Abbas, Musab Omar, Walid Bishr, Ahmed Bishr, Abbas Ali, Walid Muhammad, Ali Muhammad, and Rashid Ubaid. Ahmed Al-Mallahi, Rashid Eid, Othman Safar, Mansour Muftah, and Jassim Ahmed.
16 teams are participating in the Asian Cup, and the draw divided them into four groups, where our team came in the third group alongside the teams of Iran, Afghanistan and Indonesia.
The top two teams from each group qualify for the quarter-finals, while the teams finishing in the first three places in the tournament qualify for the finals of the Beach Soccer World Cup “Seychelles 2025”.
