The committee developed 4 recommendations that were identified based on the committee’s observations, and included establishing an accelerator platform with the aim of raising the efficiency of patent registration, supporting inventors and innovators from registering patents until converting them into a commercial product, providing financial support to inventors, especially individuals and small and emerging companies, and increasing the percentage of spending. On research and development to support advanced industries in the country, enhance their competitiveness, and encourage the private sector to contribute to financing research and development activities, in addition to providing administrative support to researchers, which includes providing multiple funding sources and establishing and developing advanced research centers and laboratories.
