Mohammed bin Rashid approves the formation of a board of directors "Arab Media Award"

His Highness said: “The Arab region needs strong media more than ever before, and we need media cadres to take our Arab media to a better future, and this is the role that we want the Arab leaders in the Board of Directors to supervise during the next stage, and lead the development of the award’s vision in line with the changes.” The rapid and successive regional and international media sector, as the media sector bears responsibility for advancing the future of the region, enhancing development opportunities for its people, and accelerating plans and work programs to take advantage of the opportunities that future paths bring.”
His Highness added: “Dubai is a city that does not recognize the impossible and has reached where it is today by facing challenges. We want the Arab Media Award not to stop at the extent of the challenges that the Arab press suffers from, but rather to continue to achieve the aspirations of media institutions in the region and encourage their workers to be more creative.” And to provide them with the tools of the future, and we will provide them with the support required to continue this noble mission.”
His Highness continued: “The Arab region possesses enormous capabilities and competencies, and the role of the members of the new Board of Directors is to discover and honor these media and journalistic competencies, and to consolidate the award’s position as the most important forum for celebrating Arab media creativity.”

The new board of directors of the “Arab Media Award” includes an elite group of intellectual, journalistic, media and academic leaders in the Arab world, and they are: Her Excellency Mona Ghanem Al Marri, Vice President and Managing Director of the Dubai Media Council, Chair of the Award, and Dr. Sultan Al Nuaimi, Director General of the Emirates Center for Studies and Research. strategy, Ghassan Charbel, editor-in-chief of Asharq Al-Awsat newspaper, Nayla Tueni, chair of the board of directors of the Lebanese newspaper An-Nahar, writer Imad El-Din Adeeb, and Mohamed Al Hammadi, Director General of the Emirates News Agency, Editor-in-Chief of the Jusoor Post newspaper, writer and thinker Dr. Muhammad Al-Rumaihi, and Ahmed Al-Maslamani, Chairman of the National Media Authority and Chairman of the Cairo Center for Strategic Studies.
The Council also includes in its membership Dr. Maitha Buhumaid, Executive Director of the Marketing and Communications Sector at Dubai Media Incorporated – Secretary-General of the Award, Abdul Rahman Abu Malih, CEO of Eight Company, journalist Ammar Taqi, founder of the Black Box program, writer Sawsan Al-Shaer, and Dr. Muhammad bin Mubarak.
