The Minister of Culture visits the artist Mohamed Mounir to honor him on Egyptian Culture Day

In a gesture that reflects appreciation and pride in the symbols of art and culture in Egypt, Dr. Ahmed Fouad Hanno, Minister of Culture, was keen to visit the great artist Mohamed Mounir at his home to hand him the “Egyptian Culture Day” honor. This visit came after health conditions prevented the artist Mohamed Mounir from attending the honoring ceremony held this morning at the Cairo Opera House.  
 
The Minister of Culture said during the meeting “All of Egypt thanks you for your art, creativity, and your unforgettable fingerprints in the world of art. We were keen that the Day of Culture would not pass without us receiving the honor of giving you this honour, which is the least appreciation for what you have given to your country.” The minister also conveyed the greetings of millions of Egyptians who consider Mohamed Mounir a unique national symbol and one of the makers of the Egyptian identity.  
 
For his part, the artist Mohamed Mounir expressed his happiness and pride in this honor. , saying: How proud I am of this visit, which in all its details carried great love and appreciation, and I announce with all pride and pride my great happiness with the award on the day Culture.  
 
Today I feel that I have received all the awards from my country, as I have always been an Egyptian industry, may God bless Egypt."
 
 
The activities of the first edition, “Culture Day,” were launched today, January 8, under the patronage of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and Karam Dr. Ahmed Fouad Hanno, Minister of Culture, presented a large number of Egyptian identity makers, in appreciation of their distinguished career and constructive contributions to consolidating Egypt’s intellectual and creative identity, during the major celebration organized by the Egyptian Ministry of Culture, in the Grand Theater of the Cairo Opera House, in the presence of a large number of public figures.
