We want the Arab Media Award not to stop at the extent of the challenges that the Arab press suffers from. The new board of directors of the “Arab Media Award” includes an elite group of intellectual, journalistic, media and academic leaders in the Arab world, namely: Vice President and Managing Director of the Dubai Media Council, President of the Award, Mona Ghanem Al Marri, and Director General of the Emirates Center for Strategic Studies and Research, Dr. Sultan Al Nuaimi. And the editor-in-chief of Asharq Al-Awsat newspaper, Ghassan Charbel, and the chairwoman of the board of directors of the Lebanese newspaper An-Nahar, Nayla Tueni, and the writer Imad Al-Din Adeeb, and the general director of the news agency.
