Ammar bin Humaid witnesses the signing of an agreement between… "Al Rostamani Group" And Ajman University
Ajman, January 9, 2017 – His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman, Chairman of the Executive Council, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Ajman University, praised the Abdul Wahed Al Rostamani Group’s continued support for Ajman University, and its keenness to enhance the strategic direction of its transformation into a non-profit educational institution.
His Highness witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding by Ajman University with Abdul Wahed Al Rostamani Group, to finance the “Comprehensive Learning Center for Students of Determination.”
His Highness said that donor support for the university contributes to providing equal educational opportunities for all segments of society, and enhances the quality and excellence of its academic programs, so that it ranks first in national and international university rankings, noting that this funding will enable students of determination to obtain an equal and comprehensive education, and open They have new horizons to achieve their academic and professional ambitions.
The agreement was signed by Dr. Karim Al-Saghir, Chancellor of Ajman University, and Dr. Amina Abdul Wahed Al Rostamani, Director and Board Member of Abdul Wahed Al Rostamani Company.
Dr. Karim Al-Saghir thanked the family of the late Abdul Wahed Al Rostamani for their generous support in financing the “Learning Center for People of Determination” project, and said that this cooperation will make a fundamental difference in the lives of students, and will open new horizons for them towards a better and brighter future.
He stressed that the center represents an important strategic step in achieving the mission of Ajman University in supporting comprehensive education, adding that its establishment forms part of the strategic direction that the university has strengthened since its transformation into a non-profit institution that works to ensure the sustainability of the values of quality, science, knowledge and community service.
For her part, Dr. Amina Abdul Wahed Al Rostamani stressed the group’s keenness to provide support to Ajman University, to enhance its trend towards becoming a non-profit educational institution, noting that the group supports all efforts aimed at providing educational opportunities for different segments of society.
She said that this initiative comes within the group’s social responsibility, considering cooperation with Ajman University an investment in the future and a contribution to providing distinguished educational opportunities for students of determination, stressing the group’s confidence in the quality of the academic programs offered by the university, which has qualified it to top international rankings.
