Actress Hend Sabry enriches the experience of 200 participants in the acting “Masterclass” in Jeddah

The Film Commission is organizing a masterclass entitled “Acting from the Story’s Perspective,” presented by Arab star Hend Sabry, on Friday, January 17, in Jeddah, with the participation of 200 people.
The meeting extends for three hours and aims to review the artistic and cultural differences between Tunisian and Egyptian cinema and their impact on the actors’ performance and their adaptation to various types of cinematic works.

The most prominent topics of the meeting

The masterclass addresses several main topics, most notably how to deal with the difference in acting references between Tunisian and Egyptian cinema, in addition to the impact of the type of cinematic work, whether independent or commercial, on the actor’s performance.
The challenges of embodying characters in various artistic contexts and the use of different dialects in cinema will also be highlighted.

Hend Sabry is considered one of the most prominent Arab stars and has achieved many achievements in the field of cinema, where she received prestigious awards, including the Best Arab Actress Award at the Cannes Film Festival, and the French Order of Arts and Letters with the rank of officer.
She is also the first Arab woman to participate in the jury of the Venice Film Festival, in addition to her membership in the jury of Arab and international festivals.
