Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi receives a delegation "E&Emirates"
Sharjah, 11 January / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, Chairman of the Sharjah Communications Technologies Authority, received Masoud Mohammed Sharif, CEO of E&Emirates, and his accompanying delegation, in his office.
His Highness welcomed the delegation, praising the efforts made by the Corporation in providing innovative technical solutions that serve the various sectors of society. His Highness stressed the importance of continued cooperation between government and private agencies and leading companies in the telecommunications sector to develop the digital infrastructure and enhance the emirate’s capabilities in this vital field.
The meeting discussed ways to enhance joint cooperation between the Sharjah Communications Technologies Authority and the E&Emirates Foundation, which is reflected in improving and developing the infrastructure of communications networks in the cities and regions of the emirate, in addition to supporting telecommunications companies and their services in the field of communication and information technology to provide advanced services and keep pace with the latest technologies. And in support of the efforts of the Emirate of Sharjah to promote digital sustainability, artificial intelligence, and community well-being.
His Highness, Chairman of the Sharjah Communications Technologies Authority, learned from the delegation about the most prominent services provided by E&Emirates to its subscribers, including the latest infrastructure projects, artificial intelligence, technological solutions, and innovations in the field of communication and the Internet, and was briefed on its future plans to meet the needs of users, individuals and institutions.
