The initiative is one of the initiatives announced by the Minister of And Logistics Services Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Transport Authority, Saleh bin Ibrahim Al-Jasser, during the extraordinary meeting of transport ministers in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, which was held today – via video communication – to confirm the complementary role of the transport and logistics services system in supporting the acceleration of the flow of supply chains, and the rapid response to all variables.
Safety standards
The Authority indicated that this initiative comes to enable the land transport sector to absorb all the variables and meet the growing needs of this vital sector, especially the activity of transporting goods. The Authority stressed the necessity of all trucks adhering to safety standards and the validity of periodic technical inspection to ensure the application of the highest road safety standards.
