The Red Crescent team wins the Charity Polo Cup title
Abu Dhabi, January 12 / WAM / The Red Crescent team won the annual Community Charity Polo Festival Cup, organized by the Ghantoot Horse Racing and Polo Club yesterday, at the Sultan Bin Zayed Stadium, defeating the Ghantoot team 5-4.
The festival was held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Falah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the Club, and with the support of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, for the benefit of the Red Crescent Authority’s projects directed to the orphans section.
At the conclusion of the activities, the proceeds of the festival were handed over to the Red Crescent, and the winners were honored with souvenirs, in the presence of Saeed bin Hofan Al Mansouri, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ghantoot Club, and Khaled Saeed Al Marzouqi, Managing Director and Executive Director of the club.
Al Mansouri praised the support and patronage of His Highness Sheikh Falah bin Zayed Al Nahyan for the charitable community events that the club is keen to organize, most notably the Red Crescent Authority Charity Festival, Pink Polo, and Hope Polo Day.
