Al Marri wins a title "International sail" To jump hurdles

Abu Dhabi, January 13 / WAM / Jockey Abdullah Mohammed Al Marri, with the horse “PPS McGregor”, won the “Longines Grand Prix” title, for the Al Shiraa International Show Jumping Championship, three-star category.

The winners were crowned by Mohammed Ahmed Al Harbi, Director General of the Emirates Arabian Horse Association and Chairman of the Championship, and Samantha Cattell, Director of the Championship.
The Grand Prix competition was held at the end of the championship rounds, with the specifications of one round with a differentiation round, with barriers 150 cm high, with the participation of 49 male and female riders, and Al Marri achieved a penalty-free participation in the differentiation round in a time of 40.88 seconds.
British jockey Joseph Stockdale with the horse “Ebanking” took second place with a time of 33.39 seconds and 4 penalty points, and the jockey Omar Abdul Aziz Al Marzouqi with the horse “Shako Bay” came third, achieving 35.20 seconds and with 4 penalty points.
Jockey Ali Hamad Al-Karbi achieved a new victory, completing the double with the horse “Dubai”, in the third international competition for young riders aged 25 years and under, with hurdles reaching a height of 145 cm, and with the participation of 30 male and female riders, achieving 35.01 seconds.
Canadian equestrian Leah Rocker and her horse “Barcelona” were crowned first place in the international competition with the specifications of one round with a round of differentiation sponsored by the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, with the 135 cm hurdles, with the participation of 64 male and female riders, recording a differentiation time of 37.67 seconds.
The horse “Billy Morzine”, led by the knight Omar Abdul Aziz Al Marzouqi, won the title of the Young Horse Championship at the age of 6 years, sponsored by “Al Sheraa Farm”, over hurdles 125 cm high, with the participation of 35 horses, and he finished with her excellence in a time of 37.49 seconds.
The horse “Z7 Pink Panther,” led by British horsewoman Katie Spiller, topped the third international competition for young jumping horses, 7 years old, with a time of distinction of 37.92 seconds, according to the specifications of one round, with a round of distinction over hurdles 130 cm high, with the participation of 30 horses.
The horses of the Emirates Knights came in places from second to fourth, and the second place was won by the mare “Argentina de Cresker Z”, one of the small jumping horses at Al Sheraa Stables, led by the jockey Hamid Abdullah Al Muhairi, with a time of excellence of 38.71 seconds, and the third place went to the horse “Blatz Alz”, led by the knight Hamid Abdullah Al Muhairi. Knight Salem Ahmed Al Suwaidi, with a time of 40.26 seconds, and the horse “Infinity Wow” from the young horses, led by Horsewoman Sheikha Latifa bint Ahmed Al Maktoum.
