The One Billion Followers Summit discusses strategies for investing in content creation in driving change

Dubai, January 13 / WAM / Her Excellency Ohoud bint Khalfan Al Roumi, Minister of State for Government Development and the Future, attended the session “Transforming the content creator’s brand into a broad movement” within the activities of the One Billion Followers Summit 2025.
The third edition of the One Billion Followers Summit is the largest global summit in the content industry economy, which is organized by the UAE Government Media Office and hosted by the country during the period from January 11 to 13, at (Emirates Towers, Dubai International Financial Center, and Museum of the Future) in Dubai. Under the slogan “Purposeful Content,” there was great momentum with the participation of more than 15,000 content makers and influencers, more than 420 speakers, and 125 CEOs and global experts.
Ihab Hamarneh, life coach and empowerment expert, emphasized during the session that true leadership begins with taking responsibility and facing challenges before others, pointing out that leaders who make change do not stop at talking about change, but rather begin taking action themselves first.
Hamarneh explained that true leaders do not wait for their problems to be completely solved before they take action, but rather realize that change begins from within, and the meaning of leadership is simply heading into the “forest of the unknown” before others go there.
Hamarneh pointed out that true leadership means facing challenges and finding solutions that can be shared with society, and added that the leader is the first to walk the path, not the first to talk about it.
Hamarneh concluded his speech by pointing out that every change movement faces challenges, and said that if you are seeking real change, you must be liberated from the idea that the movement is just an activity that you undertake, but rather go beyond that to focus on the deeper message and higher goal that you seek to achieve through your work.
He explained that true success requires the leader or influencer to look at challenges as spaces for learning and growth, and not as obstacles, adding that influencers and leaders who succeed in transcending the boundaries of brands and traditional fields are those who leave their true mark on the world, because they realize that their message goes beyond the usual framework of work. .
He stressed that freedom from stereotypes opens broader horizons for achieving tangible and sustainable change, and concluded by saying that when you are liberated from the limits of your role as a leader or influencer, you begin to discover that your truth and message are greater and deeper than any framework that may restrict it, and that true influence lies in the ability to inspire others.
