28 projects were presented via the “Reconnaissance” platform to obtain feedback on them

The “Estalaa” platform of the National Competitiveness Center presented 28 projects related to economic and development affairs, in cooperation with 14 government agencies.
This comes to enable the public, government agencies and the private sector to express views and suggestions about it before its approval.

The most prominent projects presented

The most prominent projects presented at the platform included the project “Rules and work procedures for committees examining violations of the provisions of the environmental system.”
The Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture aims to organize the work of the committees and the tasks assigned to their members and to form objections committees to consider objections from concerned parties.
The platform allows surveying of the project until January 23, 2025.

Joint business councils project

The Ministry of Commerce presented the draft “Regulatory Regulations for Joint Saudi-Foreign Business Councils”.
The project aims to organize the work of business councils in order to consolidate and develop relations in various economic fields between the business community in the Kingdom and counterpart countries within a systematic framework that achieves the objective goals specified for the relationship with those countries.
The survey on the project ends on February 4, 2025.

Customs consultations

The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority presented two projects for survey. The first is “Profession Regulations,” which clarifies the requirements that must be met to obtain a license for the customs consulting profession, cases of license revocation, and penalties for anyone who violates its provisions.
The second project deals with “Controls for pre-submission of data on goods received from sea ports,” which deals with all stages of pre-submission of data on goods received through sea customs ports.
The survey on the first project ends on February 5, 2025, and the second on February 6, 2025.

Certificates of deposit

The Capital Market Authority is seeking opinions regarding the draft “Regulatory Framework for an Offering in the Saudi Financial Market,” with the aim of regulating the registration and public offering of certificates of deposit in the Saudi financial market in exchange for shares issued in a foreign country and listed on its market.
The survey on the project ends on February 7, 2025.

Recruitment activity

The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development published on the platform the draft “Rules for Practicing Recruitment Activity and Providing Labor Services,” in order to facilitate the process of recruiting support workers and professional workers to work for the benefit of citizens while ensuring that the latest implementation mechanism is followed.
The platform allows surveying of the project until February 9, 2025.
The draft laws, regulations, and the like are presented through the “Estilaa” platform. Emphasizing the enhancement of transparency in the legislative environment, spreading the culture of reconnaissance among the public, government agencies, and the private sector, and involving them in formulating projects related to the business environment; This is to achieve the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
