Abu Dhabi Water Sports launches its new season with record participation

ABU DHABI, 13 JANUARY / WAM / The Abu Dhabi Water Sports Club announced the launch of the first tournaments of the new sports season on January 18, through the “Swim for Life” tournament, which is dedicated to buds and juniors from the ages of 9 to 12 years from various categories, in a swimming pool. Mohammed bin Zayed City, Abu Dhabi.
Hamid Al-Hooti, Chairman of the Club’s Board of Directors, confirmed that the tournament will witness the participation of more than 230 male and female swimmers representing 13 clubs and academies, competing in 800 individual races, and 450 colored medals will be distributed to the winners.
Al-Hooti explained that the participation of this number of male and female players in the tournament makes it the most prominent in the country at the level of swimming for this category, pointing out that the tournament targets this age group in order to give them more experience and develop their skills in preparation for participating in various tournaments.
