"Fujairah Petroleum Industry" Highlights its sustainable energy practices
ABU DHABI, 14 JANUARY / WAM / A delegation from the Fujairah Petroleum Industrial Zone (Foz) is participating in the World Future Energy Summit 2025, held at the ADNEC Center Abu Dhabi within Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week.
This annual participation in the summit is an important opportunity to present the Petroleum Region’s trends towards investing in sustainable energy and green fuels, with the aim of supporting the circular economy and advancing the development of future energy and energy efficiency.
During its participation, Foz highlights its pioneering practices in the field of sustainable energy and its strategic directions to reduce the carbon footprint, in line with the goals of the UAE and the Emirate of Fujairah to achieve climate neutrality by 2050.
His Excellency Captain Salem Al-Afkham, Director General of the Fujairah Petroleum Industry Zone, stressed that participation in the global summit is an essential part of Foz’s commitment to strengthening efforts to find sustainable solutions.
He explained that participation provides the region with the opportunity to learn about the best global practices and innovations in the fields of energy and the sustainable economy, which contributes to attracting projects and investments, and promotes the development of strategic projects that guarantee a sustainable development and economic future.
