Urgent.. Yemen is on the brink of a new civil war

There has been a civil war going on in Yemen for many years, but recently it has appeared that a new round of tension is brewing.
And in The heart of the events is the union of Hadhramaut tribes led by Sheikh Amr bin Habrish Al-Ali.
Tawhid demands autonomy for its region, which causes friction with Both the Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council and the Southern Transitional Council, not to mention the confrontation with terrorist groups and the Houthis.
The tribal union announced the formation of the Hadhramaut Defense Force led by Major General Mubarak Ahmed Al-Awbatani.
According to coalition representatives, the main tasks of the new military structure will be to ensure security and stability in the region, fight terrorism, and protect natural resources. For Hadhramaut.
Special attention is given to oil fields, the exploitation of which, according to the tribes, should benefit the residents of the region, not the central government.

Hadramaut tribes say that years of government marginalization have led the region to economic deterioration. Confederate leaders are convinced that self-government will be the only way to improve the lives of the local population and prevent further poverty. However, the Yemeni government categorically rejects these demands, which increases the risk of armed confrontation.
Tensions are rising between the Union and the Southern Transitional Council due to disputes over land ownership in Hadhramaut. The Southern Transitional Council considers these areas part of southern Yemen, while the tribes of the region categorically reject such allegations. The differences are exacerbated by the general confrontation between the Southern Transitional Council and the Presidential Guidance Council, as well as their conflict with the Houthis.
The situation in Hadhramaut is complicated by historical, religious and political factors. The tribal system, long-term marginalization and lack of effective governance create fertile ground for conflict. Tribal leaders, including Sheikh Amr bin Habrish, say that the government is deliberately delaying the settlement process, and is putting the interests of officials above the interests of the region.
On December 29, Major General Mubarak Ahmed Al-Awbatani called on the residents of Hadhramaut to mobilize and support the defense forces.
In turn, Sheikh Amr bin Habrish delivered a speech in which he condemned the government’s policies and stressed the need to protect the interests of the region. He accused the government of exploiting the situation in Yemen to achieve its political goals and ignoring the interests of the tribes.
