"Emirati values breakfast" It hosts 5,500 residents of 30 nationalities

DUBAI, 26 March / WAM / The Federal Youth Foundation concluded the fifth edition of the “Emirati Values Iftar 2026” initiative, one of the initiatives of the National Program for Emirati Values, with the participation of more than 5,500 residents from 30 nationalities, who were hosted in Emirati homes and councils in various emirates of the country, in a humanitarian experience that reflects national values and enhances communication between cultures.
His Excellency Khaled Mohammed Al Nuaimi, Director of the Federal Youth Foundation, said that the “Emirati Values Iftar” initiative embodies the vision of the wise leadership in consolidating national values and enhancing the UAE’s position as a global model of coexistence and tolerance, through community initiatives that reflect the spirit of openness and cultural communication, and contribute to introducing the world to Emirati values based on respect and brotherhood, and also enhance cohesion between members of society and solidarity in facing challenges, by building bridges of human communication between different peoples.
He added that the initiative represents a vital platform to enable young people to actively contribute to transmitting and consolidating these values, through their direct participation in hosting residents and introducing Emirati customs and traditions, thus enhancing their role in translating national trends into realistic practices that reflect the identity of Emirati society and highlight it in a civilized manner to the world.
For his part, Jassim Al-Obaidli, Director of the Youth Interaction Department at the Federal Youth Foundation, said that youth councils played a pivotal role in implementing the Emirati Values Iftar initiative at the state level, by organizing hosts and coordinating youth participation, in addition to the active role of community members in embracing the initiative and contributing to its organization, which created an integrated experience that reflects the spirit of community cohesion, and enhances the ability of young people to lead community initiatives and create a real impact that consolidates the presence of Emirati values.
He added that the initiative provided a practical space for young people to interact directly with various cultures, build human relationships based on respect and understanding, in addition to consolidating authentic Emirati values and customs in their daily practices, thus enhancing their role as ambassadors of national values capable of conveying a positive image of the UAE to the world.
The initiative witnessed partnerships with youth centers and local, sectoral, institutional and international youth councils, in addition to a number of governmental and social agencies, in a way that contributes to consolidating the values of tolerance and coexistence, introducing Emirati customs and traditions, and enhancing its global presence.
