“Mohamed bin Zayed Sat” was made in the Emirates to serve humans on Earth

His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, praised the successful launch of the “Mohammed bin Zayed Sat” satellite into space.

His Highness said on his official account on the social networking site “X”: “Thank God, we launched “Mohammed bin Zayed Sat”, the most advanced satellite in the region, into space.”


His Highness Sheikh Hamdan added: “This mission will do a lot for our efforts in the field of development and sustainability. It bears the name of the leader, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and the Mohammed bin Rashid Space Center team worked on it.”

His Highness stressed: “The satellite will provide images that are twice as accurate as current capabilities… and 10 times more numerous… and will provide data at a speed 4 times faster than current capabilities.”

His Highness continued, saying: “From the Emirates to the world, it is with great pride that the Mohammed bin Zayed Sat was made in the Emirates to serve humans on Earth..”
