Hamdan bin Zayed receives a number of citizens and the Liwa International Festival 2025 committee

His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Ruler’s Representative in the Al Dhafra Region, received, in the barza of the Liwa City Council, a number of citizens in the Al Dhafra Region, as part of His Highness’s keenness to monitor their conditions and the services provided in the various cities of the Al Dhafra Region and provide means of stability and a decent life.

His Highness conveyed the greetings of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, and his interest in developing the region and providing a decent life for citizens.

During the meeting, His Highness also listened to citizens’ opinions and viewpoints on various matters related to the services provided to them, and checked on their conditions and was informed of the progress of work in various vital service sectors under implementation.

His Highness and the attendees exchanged friendly conversations that embody the depth of the relationship between the wise leadership and citizens, the extent of its interest and care for its children, and its keenness to follow up on their lives, feel their needs, and enhance the development services provided to them in projects that serve citizens in every part of the land of this generous nation.

His Highness stressed the importance of communicating with citizens on all occasions and getting to know their needs closely, noting the wise leadership’s endeavor to provide all requirements and necessities for growth and development.

On the other hand, His Highness received the members of the Supreme Committee of the Liwa International Festival 2025, and stressed that the festival’s activities were exceptional and distinguished, as befits the local and international status that the festival has reached, and that the upcoming sessions will witness more excellence and diversity in events, competitions and participation.

His Highness also directed the organizing committee to add new programs and competitions within the activities of the Liwa International Festival, and to increase the spaces allocated to ensure greater and more diverse participation.

His Highness explained that good preparation and early preparation for such major events guarantees their success and enhances their excellence and creativity, which was clearly demonstrated by the volume of participation and the large public turnout for the events.

His Highness praised the great efforts made by the Supreme Organizing Committee of the Liwa Festival 2025, expressing his thanks and appreciation to all sponsors and partners who contributed to the success of the festival, which is considered one of the most prominent cultural and heritage events in the Al Dhafra region and the United Arab Emirates.

His Highness said: The success achieved by the festival this year reflects the dedication and continuous work of the organizing committee, and the great support of the sponsors who believed in the vision of the festival and contributed to achieving its goals.

His Highness stressed the importance of continued support and cooperation between various parties, to ensure achieving more successes in the coming years, which strengthens the festival’s position as one of the most prominent events that contribute to promoting tourism and cultural development in the Al Dhafra region.

The reception was attended by Sheikh Rashid bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Nasser bin Mohammed Al Mansouri, Under-Secretary of the Court of the Ruler’s Representative in the Al Dhafra Region, and a number of senior officials.
