His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, may God protect him, said in a tweet on the “X” platform: “During my meeting today with His Excellency Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Dubai… we discussed our growing relations… And building new economic bridges…and launching development projects that serve the two brotherly peoples.

His Highness added: Our relations with Uzbekistan are among the rapidly accelerating relations that have grown by 84% commercially between 2022 and 2023.

His Highness continued: Uzbekistan is a governmental partner, an economic partner, a tourism partner, and a cultural depth to our Islamic world.
