“Ma’aden” signs contracts to develop the “phosphate fertilizer” project at a value of 3.45 billion riyals

The Saudi Arabian Mining Company (Maaden) announced the signing of a number of contracts related to the development of the third sector for the manufacture of phosphate fertilizers.
According to the company’s statement on, the company had announced the start of developing the third project to manufacture phosphate fertilizers, while on November 30, 2016, it announced the start of work on developing the third project to manufacture phosphate fertilizers.

Developing a phosphate fertilizer manufacturing project

The company added that contracts related to the development of the third project include:
1- General construction works in Ras Al-Khair by contracting with the branch of the Chinese National Chemical Engineering Company at an approximate value of $325 million (equivalent to approximately 1,220 billion riyals).
2- General construction works (SAP, PAP & OSBL) in Waad Al Shamal by contracting with the branch of Sinopec Nanjing Engineering and Construction Co., Ltd. at an approximate value of 363 million dollars (equivalent to approximately 1.361 billion riyals).
3- General construction work in Waad Al-Shamal by contracting with Tekfin Construction and Installation Company Limited at an approximate value of $234 million (equivalent to approximately 877 million riyals).
