3,060 new “private and investment” villas in Dubai during 2024

Recent data issued by the Dubai Statistics Center revealed that the total number of new buildings completed in Dubai during the past year 2024 reached 3,461 buildings.

The data, a copy of which was obtained by Emirates Today, showed that villa buildings accounted for the largest share of the total new buildings completed, bringing the total number of private and investment villas completed together to 3,060 buildings, representing 88.4% of the total.

The data showed that December 2024 topped the list of months with the largest number of new buildings completed, compared to the months of last year, with 457 buildings recorded.

Dubai Statistics Center indicators, based on official data from Dubai Municipality, showed that private villas topped the completed buildings with a total of 2,245 villas, representing 64.9% of the total during the past year, followed by investment villas, with 815 villas, representing 23.5% of the total completed buildings.

The total number of new multi-storey buildings completed was 188, representing 5.4% of the total completed buildings, followed by public buildings, with 113 new buildings, representing 3.3% of the total, then industrial buildings, which recorded 100 buildings, representing 2.9%. According to the center, the month of April 2024 was the lowest in the number of new buildings completed during the past year, after recording 152 buildings.

According to the months, January recorded 201 new completed buildings, February 225 buildings, March 314 buildings, while May recorded 172 buildings, June 225 buildings, July 247 buildings, and August 243 buildings.

The number of new buildings completed in September was 433, in October 410, in November 382, ​​and in December 457 new buildings completed.
