The “Arila Race” for sailing bearings begins on January 25

The Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club announced the organization of the “Arila Race” for 60-foot sailboats, on January 25, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Ruler’s Representative in the Al Dhafra Region.
The club confirmed, in a press statement, that January 26 will be a backup day for organizing the race depending on weather conditions, as part of the program of heritage events during the current season by holding races for all categories of bearings, with the participation of more than 90 loaders, with 20 sailors on board each loader.
The third round race for this category will be held for a distance of 28 nautical miles, and the bearings will start from Khalifa Port until the finish line in front of the flagpole on the Abu Dhabi Corniche, to crown the winners, as three cars were spotted for the first three places.
