المملكة: Expo 2025 Osaka.. The Saudi Pavilion is preparing to host 700 daily events and shows
The Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Japan and Commissioner General of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s pavilion participating in Expo 2025 Osaka, Dr. Ghazi bin Faisal bin Zagr, at the recent meeting of international participants, which was held during the period from January 15 to 16 at the Himeji Culture and Convention Center.
Ambassador Zaqr explained during his participation that the completion rate of construction work for the Saudi Pavilion has reached 82%, with the entire front façade completed, and its readiness to receive visitors starting next April 13 with more than 700 events and live shows daily.
In addition to highlighting the visitors’ experience, and announcing new campaigns aimed at encouraging Japanese society to “discover Saudi Arabia.”
700 Saudi events
Bin Zagr said: The Kingdom is pleased to host visitors and invite them to participate in an interconnected journey that includes new discoveries, through which we display the depth of our traditions and our prominent transformations, as the Kingdom’s pavilion will present more than 700 events during Expo 2025 Osaka.
In addition to daily shows including fashion, music, and films, this gives visitors a unique opportunity to discover our rich traditions and future ambitions.
He pointed out that the pavilion will take visitors on an immersive journey through 7 carefully designed halls, covering topics such as space and time, and displayed within cultural studios.
In addition to providing innovative experiences that showcase the legacy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for future generations, and reflect the Kingdom’s influence globally, whether through advanced cities, sustainable seas, unlimited human potential, or summits of innovation.”
Saudi tours in Japan
Ambassador Bin Zagr announced the launch of a national tour under the title “Saudi Tours in Japan” with the aim of enhancing cultural interaction between the two friendly peoples. These tours will tour 7 Japanese cities to provide the Japanese with the opportunity to meet the Saudis and learn about their culture and traditions before the opening of the pavilion.
He explained that the tours that started from Osaka will move to the cities of Kyoto, Kobe, Hiroshima, Fukuoka, Nagoya, and Tokyo, and will continue until next March 9.

It will provide the Japanese audience with an immersive experience that introduces them to authentic Saudi hospitality, and encourages them to visit the Kingdom’s pavilion, which opens its doors with the launch of the World Expo on April 13.
Delegations from 150 countries
The participation of the Ambassador and Commissioner General of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s pavilion participating in Expo 2025 Osaka, which brought together more than 600 Commissioners General and delegations from 150 countries, along with representatives of 47 national pavilions, to review Saudi preparations to participate in the World Expo 2025 Osaka, and what it will offer. During the exhibition, the Kingdom presented an innovative experience that embodies its commitment to international efforts for sustainable human development and creating a bright future for the world.
The pavilion reflects its rich heritage and culture, its civilization steeped in history, its ancient traditions, and its accelerating transformation process.
